Como você acha que a Arte pode contribuir no fortalecimento da Cultura de Paz?
Yet, it's through art that bridges to peace can be built.
To create peace, an emotional connection must be found.
And words can rarely create that, but Art can.

MANDELA - Pilot of the Winds
MANDELA - Pilot of the Winds - a staging of "soul bodies". The flying objects transcend into beings performing their dance of the rising winds, personifying the vulnerability of all the souls destroyed by war. An artistic plea for peace - Their movements perfectly complemented by the profoundly sad and quiet music of "Sarajevo" by Max Richter, suggestive of the sound of thunder, distant and yet unsettlingly present. The music, the thoughts of war and the constant rise and gentle fall of the flying objects, provoke a touchingly emotional response, transforming them in the eyes of the beholder into souls. Due to the current political situation, the theme of war is once again omnipresent. The outcome is always the same: people are wounded, people are killed. But what happens to those that survive? They will never be the same. Traumatized, physically and mentally ill, internally dead, barely existing, their souls wounded, will they ever be able to return to a normal life? This unspeakable horror of war accompanies us all. It is said that when the soul takes flight, the person dances. Let this dance be a plea for peace.
