Bio
I have a passion for landscape photography with special focus on water bodies and mountainous areas. l twin this passion with psychological practice for children in particular. I have exhibited in two local exhibitions and one international research oriented exhibition so far. I also have an appreciation for fabric dyeing.
What is the importance of art in your life?
Art is very therapeutic. It helps an individual to connect with themselves and the universe. Art enables me to contextualize their experiences, to express myself share my identity. Through art , l can showcase my talent and also improve my creativity
How do you think Art can contribute to strengthening a Culture of Peace?
My art work contributes to strengthening a culture of peace in that it showcases the importance environment preservation. Conservation helps to transform relationships between people and nature. This can strengthen social cohesion and promote positive peace.
We are living in a time marked by wars, humanitarian crises, climate change, major political scandals, rising cases of femicide, authoritarianism, and religious intolerance. Which of these issues affects you the most? What concerns you the most at this moment?
I am affected a lot by humanitarian crises, climate change and femicide. Climate change concerns me the most at the moment
In your opinion, how can Art contribute to raising people's awareness about the issues mentioned above?
Artworks which depict the issues mentioned can be created and showcased under the relevant themes. For examples showcasing under the theme of environmental injustices.
